As children, we often live in a world of fantasy and imagination, but as we grow older, we let go of that world.

My story is different. Since childhood, I have always dreamed of the infinite possibilities inspired by the Black Sea and outer space. I lived in two dimensions defined by the states of now and the future, and perhaps that was because I was born in a small ancient city, Varna, located on the seacoast of Bulgaria. 

Often as a child, I would stare at the Black Sea admiring its changing colors and unpredictable nature. Watching the smiling and blinking stars at night kept my imagination. The vastness and tranquility of the Black Sea and space posed different big questions I am still exploring today. 

My curiosity and vast interest in the universe led me to explore a variety of subjects in school and pursue degrees that did not exactly match a standard career path. I always found myself inspired by the unknown and looking for new adventures. What I have really enjoyed the most throughout my twenty-year career is exploring, creating, and sharing new ideas and knowledge. Space became my source for ideas and aspirations. 

One day, I asked myself, "What if I had the chance to start all over again? Could I construct a new future and a new vision for myself and emulate the images in my brain signaling the arrival of my future?” Mars became the symbolic representation of my new version and my new life. Every day, it stimulates the imagination and points to possibilities that may exist. It inspires my creativity and pushes me to imagine myself thriving in a life beyond our known world.
